We celebrate this occasion with incredible excitement and enthusiasm. You have demonstrated great perseverance, reached intellectual and personal milestones and made positive contributions to our local community and beyond.

The faculty, staff and administration of the university are confident that you are prepared to move fearlessly forward and continue a path of achieving excellence in everything you do. Now is the time to make your mark in addressing the grand challenges of our time, from safeguarding our democracy to addressing climate change and ending gun violence.

Along the way, take heart in your new family of Terp alums, more than 414,000 strong. We are all connected by our love for this university, our innovative spirit and our commitment to serving the public good. We will be with you every step of the way.
