GRAD FAIR
The University Book Center will host a Graduation Fair on March 4 and 5, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. The event will provide an opportunity to purchase regalia, order announcements, and class rings. Special pricing on diploma frames. Other services include custom doctoral regalia fittings, professional photography, and a young alumni travel agency. The event will include giveaways, raffles, and light fare.

March 12 is the last day to purchase doctoral regalia.
DEADLINE | RENT DOCTORAL REGALIA
April 12 is the last day to request a rental for doctoral regalia. See Regalia Information for details.

April 18 is the last day to order bachelor's and master's regalia.

About the Ceremonies
The main commencement ceremony is the highlight of each Terp’s academic journey! On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the University of Maryland will host the main commencement ceremony at SECU Stadium, where we come together to honor the hard work, resilience, and achievements of Terp graduates. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and the student processional will begin at 6 p.m. The main ceremony will feature our commencement speaker, president, and other notable speakers and honorees. Students will be recognized as a group with their school or college.
Each graduate and their guests are also invited to attend the individual school, college, or department ceremony for their program, which are held Tuesday, May 20 - Friday, May 23. At these individual ceremonies, graduates will walk across the stage and have their names read.

Academic regalia are the traditional dress for degree candidates participating in college, school, and department ceremonies, as well as the main commencement ceremony.
The University of Maryland hosts 28 commencement ceremonies across six campus venues. Plan ahead by reviewing the schedule of ceremonies.
